Albert Pujols Has Inflammation In Foot

ANAHEIM, Ca- According to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim first baseman Albert Pujols is dealing with some inflammation in his right foot MRI results showed.
MRI on Albert Pujols’ right foot showed inflammation but nothing major. Started medication Mon and feels better. #Angels

Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register also reported the news on the MRI results.
Angels Albert Pujols said the MRI of his foot showed just inflammation. He can play as long as he can tolerate the pain.

The inflammation seems to be nothing too serious and Alden Gonalez of MLB.com reported that Pujols will look to play a little bit of first base sooner rather than later.
MRI on Albert Pujols’ right foot said he simply has inflammation. Some of the medication he’s taken has worked; hopes to play some 1B soon.

Pujols will continue to make medication and the Angels will continue to monitor his progression.
