3. Shooting is the new Dunking

When I was growing up Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady were the most entertaining players in the league. Their ability to jump over the top of people made them a must-see ticket. As time has gone on the game has started to transform. Players like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have helped change the game into a jump shooting league. Pace and space from the Mike D’Antoni and Steve Nash era has helped make the three-ball a more attractive means of scoring than the dunk. In high school and in college I was a three-point shooter and even in my spare time today I train kids the art of shooting.

I’ll go on record to say Curry may make the most threes but Thompson has the best shooting form in the NBA. I love J.J. Redick and he is up there with having the prettiest shot but I have to give Thompson his props when it comes to having the best form. Carter was always more popular than Ray Allen growing up but in today’s time I think Allen would get more praise than he did. The three-point contest is now more exciting than ever.
