A Bad Call Leads To Another Chargers loss.

The Los Angeles Chargers have now lost three straight games in three various ways. The Denver Broncos completed a season sweep of the Chargers with a 23-20 victory.
The latest was on a defensive pass interference call on Casey Hayward which placed the ball on the Chargers 35-yard line. Denver’s placekicker Brandon McManus drilled a 53-yard field goal as time expired.
The Chargers fought hard to tie the game at 20, on an unbelievable 4th and 11 catch by Mike Williams that kept the drive going. Denver rookie quarterback Drew Lock’s first start was successful in his debut. Courtland Sutton was unstoppable, two touchdown catches in the first quarter including a spectacular one-hand grab.
Philip Rivers started the game with rumors of being benched earlier in the week. Melvin Gordon had a big day on the ground with 20 carries for 99 yards against a tough Denver defense.
The Chargers (4-8) will take on another struggling opponent next weekend when they head to Jacksonville to face the Jaguars in Flordia. The Jaguars (4-8) have lost their last four games, the latest was a 28-11 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
