Baker is coming off a strong week. In his start on Monday he was one pitch away from a perfect game before Addison Russell ended that bid.
Baker is a former second round pick of the Minnesota Twins back in 2003. He has spent time with the Twins, Cubs, and Rangers organizations.
Last season with the Rangers he posted a 3-4 record in 25 games. He made 8 starts last season and had a 5.47 ERA. This year in Triple-A he has been dominant as he has a 1.07 ERA through 17 innings.
