It wasn’t a pretty game for the Los Angeles Clippers tonight against the San Antonio Spurs. Game 3 ended 100-73.
Blake Griffin was in double digits tonight as he racked up 14 points, 5 assists, and 10 rebounds. DeAndre als got on the scoreboard with 10 points, and 8 rebounds. Austin Rivers also impressed with 11 points.
As as for the Spurs, the Defensive Player of the Year was all the Spurs needed tonight to get the win. Tim Duncan got a rest and let the youngster take over. Kawhi Leonard took off, as in contact Mission Control, as he put up 32 points. Boris Diaw added 15 to the score, and Tim Duncan made 11 points.
Pop gave the Clippers a little credit, however, after the game. He said that the way the Clippers played tonight wasn’t normal, and the way the Spurs reacted wasn’t either. This series isn’t over quite yet.
Despite the optimism, the Clippers scored their lowest number points in a postseason game ever. And their grand total of 11 points in the third quarter is the lowest all season.
Game 4 will take place on Sunday, in San Antonio, Texas.
Let’s hope this game has a better result than this one.
