In order to call up Green the Angels moved Nick Tropeano down to Triple-A. Tropeano pitched extremely well in yesterday’s win over the A’s.
He pitched 6 shutout innings and picked up his first win of the season. For Green he was unable to make the MLB roster out of Spring Training and started the season in Triple-A.
Last season Green played in 43 games on the senior circuit. He hit .273 with a home run and 11 RBI’s. Many fans are happy to see Green back on the MLB roster. They expressed their feeling via Twitter.
