Mike Trout Belts 2 Home Runs Angels Win 6-3

Mike Trout made history becoming the youngest player to reach 100 home runs and 100 stolen bases tonight. He hit number 100 in the 6th inning and number 101 in the 8th as the Angels beat the Houston Astros 6-3.
Jered Weaver got the start tonight for the Angels. He hit pitched 6 innings allowing 6 hits, 2 runs while striking out 3. He was awarded a no decision tonight.
For the Astros Roberto Hernandez got the start. He looked to get his win of the year against the Halos. He pitched 6 innings allowing 3 hits, 3 runs, while striking out 6.
After three scoreless innings the Angels pushed a run across in the 4th inning. Matt Joyce hit a sacrifice fly to left that scored Kole Calhoun. Joyce went 0-3 with 2 strikeouts and the sacrifice fly tonight.
In the 5th the Astros answered with a RBI single from Jose Altuve that scored Chris Carter. The Angels responded when Trout hit his 100th career home run to left. His two run shot gave the Angels a 3-1 advantage.
In the bottom half of the 6th inning Jason Castro got in on the action. He hit a solo shot to right field that cut the Halos lead to 3-2.
In the 7th inning George Springer hit a sacrifice fly that brought in Robbie Grossman and tied the game at 3-3.
It was Trout again in the 8th inning with his second home run of the game, this time a 3-run shot that scored Johnny Giavotella and Calhoun.
