Wil Myers hit a RBI double in the eighth inning which would serve to be the game winning run as the Padres beat the Giants in the second game of the series 1-0.
Brandon Morrow got the start for the Padres and was dominant. He pitched 7 innings allowing 4 hits while striking out 7. He was able to chop down the defending champs lineup as he got no run support.
