The Los Angeles Lakers were able to pull out a win tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers. The game ended 113-111 after going to overtime as Jeremy Clarkson hit the game time winner for LA.

Ryan KellyWesley JohnsonJordan Clarkson, and Wayne Ellington played heavy minutes tonight for the Lakers. Jordan Clarkson led the team with 26 points. Wesley Johnson led with 11 rebounds, Wayne Ellington had 20 points, and Jabari Brown put up 22.

As for the Philadelphia 76ers, Nerlens Noel led in scoring with 19 points and 14 rebounds. This was his ninth double-double of the month, and it was thanks to his six points that the game tied for overtime.

According to Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young is scheduled to be reevaluated next week:

“Lakers say Nick Young’s condition in left knee hasn’t changed. He will be evaluated again in approximately a week.” – Mark Medina

Young has not played in over a month due to a fracture in his left knee cap. Many people believe that the Lakers will eventually just shut Young down for the remainder of the season.

Serena Winters of Lakers Nation reported that the Byron Scott wants to wait and see how Young feels after they return from the road trip.”
