We like to start our day searching the web for our beloved LA sports teams. Let’s dive into the news surrounding the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Los Angeles Clippers were able to pull out a win this afternoon against the New Orleans Pelicans. The game ended 107-100:

“This win means the Clippers have safely secured a playoff position but the team still wants home court advantage. When asked about their feelings on the postseason lives, they said this (as reported by ESPN.com)

“The last time I checked the standings, we went from seven to five,” center DeAndre Jordan said. “I think it’s important to get home-court advantage, but the playoffs are just about matchups and how we come out and play. You still have to win a game on the road if you want to advance. So Doc has told us to just worry about getting better as a team, and everything will work itself out.”

Blake Griffin scored 23 points, Chris Paul had 23 points and 11 assists, J.J. Redick scored 20 points and Jordan finished with 16 rebounds and 12 points. The Clippers efforts and dominance tonight put a fork in the Pelican’s playoff road.”

The Los Angeles Clippers do not have a timetable for Jamal Crawford‘s return:

“Jamal Crawford was in the Clippers locker room before Sunday’s game against the Pelicans, in good spirits as usual.

Still, it’s tough to get a sense of when he’ll be back in the Clippers lineup. Crawford has missed 10 games with a deep calf contusion.

Crawford had his right leg drained recently because of excessive internal bleeding, according to a team official.

Asked if the injury was worse than originally thought, Doc Rivers said: “Probably. I think (trainer) Jasen (Howell) was concerned pretty much right away. But I think even he’s been caught off guard. Not off guard but probably thinks it’s worse than what we thought.”
