Los Angeles Clippers Beat Wizards; 113-99

The Los Angeles Clippers handled the Washington Wizards tonight at home. The game ended with a score of 113-99 in the Clips favor.
Chris Paul helped the team win by racking up 30 points with a side of 15 assists. J.J. Redick scored 26 points, Blake Griffin had 22 and DeAndre Jordan had 23 rebounds and 10 points.
J.J. added to his season total of three-pointers after hitting four tonight. His total is now 162, which breaks teammate Jamal Crawford‘s franchise record of 161. ESPN.com points out that tonight was “Jordan’s 10th 20-rebound game this season.”
John Wall dominated for the Wizards leading them in scoring with 19 points and 10 assists. Bradley Beal had 18 points, coming in right behind Wall, and Pierce had just six.
As for the three-point shooting percentage battle, the Clippers beat out the number three in the league Wizards. LA had a shooting percentage of 52.3 percent and held the Wizards to 43 percent.
Doc Rivers told the media after the game that his is optimistic about the promise of newest signing Jordan Hamilton. ESPN.com reports the quote as follows:
I think he can play. It’s funny. He’s been in the league for a while, and you forget he’s only 24 years old. He’s a very good, high-character kid. He clearly can score the basketball in our league, and he’s proven that. Now what we want to find out is if he can do all the other stuff to be a winning player, and I think he wants to be that.”
With a nice win against the Wizards, the Clippers will now recoup to take on Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday.
