San Diego Chargers Sign Mitch Unrein

According to Adam Schefter of NFL.com the San Diego Chargers have signed Mitch Unrein to a two-year contract.

Unrein has spent his entire four career with the Denver Broncos. The 6’4″ 306 pounder is able to play various postions on the defensive line. He was primarly a back up during his time in Denver as he has made three starts over his four year career.

Unrein is mos t known for his becoming the first defensive lineman in Broncos history to catch a touchdown pass. The pass from Peyton Manning is memory Unrein will always have.

He was undrafted in the 2010 NFL draft before signing with the Houston Texans. He then joined the Broncos practice squad before making the team in 2011.
