Jansen had surgery on his left foot in February and was expected to miss 8-12 weeks. He was one of the bright spots for the Dodgers bullpen last season. He posted a 2-3 record to go along with a 2.76 ERA and 44 saves.
The news of him playing catch is good news for the Dodgers. They hope to have him back by mid-April or early May.
