The Los Angeles Clippers will host the Houston Rockets today as they return homes. This will be the fourth and final meeting between the two teams this season and Clips are on the hunt for revenge after just falling short of a win last time.

According to Doc Rivers, via ESPN.comBlake Griffin is “very close” to a return. ESPN.com reports the following

“Rivers wouldn’t confirm if the five-time All-Star would return Sunday but didn’t rule it out. All indications are that he’ll come back in one of the next two games. The Clippers host Charlotte on Tuesday.

“We miss him on the floor,” center DeAndre Jordan told the team’s official website. “I’m pretty sure he really wants to come back, and we’ll see what happens Sunday.”

Jordan has tried to make up for Griffin’s absence, averaging 19.1 rebounds in the last 14 games along with 15.4 points.”

ESPN.com also reports the following on the Rockets:

“Houston (43-22) is 1 1/2 games ahead of the Clippers for fourth place in the Western Conference and home-court advantage in the opening round of the playoffs. The Rockets, though, could lose a key tiebreaker if they finish 1/3 in the season series with a defeat Sunday.

They’ve played all three games against Los Angeles without Howard, whose latest injury — an ailing right knee — has kept him out since Jan. 23. He reportedly expects to return in two weeks.”
