We like to start our day searching the web and reading articles about our beloved LA sports teams. It’s easy to get lost in the depth of the inter web, but luckily for you we have compiled a list of the most interesting and pertinent news stories for your morning reading pleasure. For this edition, let’s dive into the news surrounding the Los Angeles Clippers.
Connor Aylward discusses the distrust of Clippers fans and Doc Rivers. Check out his thoughts here:
“Doc may not have made a flurry of moves that made a whole bunch of sense to everybody, but can we truly say he has hurt the team with his moves? Trading Dudley and a first round pick for what has basically equated to two stretched contracts and wasted cap space was a mistake, I think even Doc would admit that at this point. Could the Clippers have used that first round pick during the trade deadline to bring in the missing piece that brings this whole team together? Maybe. But it seems like all of Docs “little” transactions are starting to come together.
Recent additions of Austin Rivers, Dahntay Jones, Jordan Hamilton and Nate Robinson are looking to have paid off. I’ll be the first to admit that I was wrong about Austin Rivers, his hustle on the defensive side and his ability to put the ball in the bucket on offense has been a great addition to the depth of a very shallow Clipper bench.”

The Los Angeles Clippers weren’t able to pull out a win tonight against the Dallas Mavericks. The game ended 129-99:
“Although it was a big night for DeAndre Jordan, as he scored the first three of his career, the Clippers struggled to keep up with the Mavs. J.J. Redick put up 17 points but went cold after halftime. Chris Paul had 11 points, seven assists and five steals.
The Clippers most recently beat the Mavericks but tonight was a different story from their offense.
Dirk Nowitzki had 14 points as well as Chandler and Ellis. He was one of five Dallas players with two 3-pointers that helped the Mavericks pull away from the finish line just after the Clippers got within 65-62 early in the third quarter.
Rajon Rondo led Dallas tonight with seven assists, including a “behind-the-back pass” to Ellis for an easy jumper after he had one of his four steals in the backcourt.”
