The Los Angeles Clippers will host the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves in a battle between two Western Conference opponents. The Clippers are coming off a loss to Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors last night and are looking to right the ship.
It is unknown the status of All-Star Chris Paul for tonight’s game. With Blake Griffin already out with an injury it will be interesting to see how the Clippers approach the Paul knee issue.
If Paul is out for any amount of time, Austin Rivers and Nate Robinson will get an increase in minutes. Robinson was signed to a 10-day contract over the weekend and is now reunited with head coach Doc Rivers.
The Clippers are just 7-5 without Griffin so everyone in Los Angeles is anxious to see when the high-flyer will be back. DeAndre Jordan has stepped up his game without Griffin as his rebound numbers have skyrocketed.
For the Timberwolves they are coming off a win which has been few and far between for them. Lead by Kevin Martin and Gary Neal in their last game they will seek a two game winning streak.
Andrew Wiggins has had a solid rookie year thus for Minnesota, and with the athleticism of dunk contest champion Zach LaVine, tonight’s game should be full of entertainment.
