Corey Seager helps the Dodgers win their 4th straight game since losing the opening spring training game.
Brandon McCarthy getting his first start of the spring, went two innings, striking out 2 and giving up one run. The Dodger pitchers kept the Brewers scoreless until the 5th when Milwaukee scored on a single to center. The Dodgers being one for theatrics weren’t going to be out done, scored two on Kyle Jensen‘s first home run of the spring putting the team ahead 3-2, then the Brewers in the top of the 9th hit a home-run of their own off Ryan Butcher, who I never heard of until that home run.
The Dodgers weren’t going to be out done though, Darnell Sweeney beat out an infield single and was replaced by Jarek Cunningham after seeming to injure himself on the play. After a sacrifice bunt and fielders choice put men on 2nd and 3rd, Corey Seager doubled into center field to score Jarek Cunningham pitch running for Darnell Sweeney, scoring the final run to help the Dodgers improve to 4-1 this spring training.
