According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford is listed as day-to-day after fouling a pitch off of his right shin.
Carl Crawford’s injury is officially a right shin bruise. No Xrays yet. His status is day to … wait for it … day. Will be re-evaluated

Crawford fouled a pitch off of his shin in yesterday’s game that looked pretty painful. He stayed in the game briefly before being replaced by Alex Guerrero.
Ken Gurnick of MLB.com spoke to Crawford yesterday about the injury.
Crawford was walking after icing but said he wouldn’t know how bad the bruise on his shin is until Sunday.

The extent of the injury does not seem to be that major at the moment. If for some reason the injury is worse than it seems the Dodgers already have an overload in outfield so Crawford’s loss wouldn’t be that big of a deal in the short term.
Crawford is competing with the Joc Pederson, Yasiel Puig, and Andre Ethier for starting outfield positions.
