Los Angeles Kings Reach Extension With Kyle Clifford

According to Jon Rosen of lakingsinsider.com the Los Angeles Kings have reached a contract extension with Kyle Clifford.

Clifford is one of the Kings tough guys as he lead the team in fights with eight this season. Rosen reported that the Kings were working with Clifford for a few weeks on this extension.

Clifford’s negotiations began after the all-star break. “Obviously you can get it out of the way and just focus on hockey,” he said.

Clifford a former second round pick, was a part of both the Kings championship runs. This is the second extension the Kings have announced in two days. Yesterday Jordan Nolan reached an agreement.
