Street is one of the best closers in the league and hopes to be with the Angels for years to come. Gonzalez reported further details on the contract situation via twitter.
Street says they’re “on the same path.” Talks have been “steady” since December. Something b/w what Miller & Robertson got ideal.

It is important to note that David Robertson received a 4-year $46 million dollar deal and Andrew Miller a 4-year $36 million dollar deal this offseason.
Gonzalez reported further details.
Huston Street looking at a four-year deal, but through 2018, so they’d rip up 2015 salary. #Angels at three years.

Last season Street was one of the best in the business. He recorded 41 saves as he was on both the Padres and the Angels.
It will be interesting to see how the talks progress as we get closer to the start of the season. It will be wise for the Angels to keep the 31-year old.
