Goran Dragic Lists Lakers, Heat, Knicks As Preferred Destinations

According to Marc Stein of ESPN.com Phoenix Suns guard Goran Dragic as informed the Suns that he has no desire to resign with the team this summer.

With the news surfacing late last night the Suns are scrabbling around to make a deal. The Houston Rockets have been known to be a suitor of Dragic. Stein reported that the Rockets may not be the most likely to land Dragic via trade.

Stein reported that the Los Angeles Lakers over the Rockets as the Lakers are rumored to spend max money on Goran.

With both the Lakers and Knicks in tight situations for their franchises they will get into a bidding war for the guard this summer.

Dragic is averaging 16.2 points and 4 assists a game for the Suns this season. They are in the middle of a playoff race and made some curious moves this offseason.

They quickly signed Isiah Thomas for the back court and then re-signed Eric Bledsoe to a big contract that made experts across the league scratch their heads. The three highest paid players on the roster played the same position and with all three getting significant playing time it has hurt Goran’s production.

The next 48 hours will be telling for the Suns and Dragic. It will interesting to see if or how aggressive the Lakers will be in their pursuit of Dragic now or later.
