Aardsma spent the 2014 campaign with the Triple-A Memphis team that is in the St. Louis Cardinals system. He posted a 1.29 ERA to go along with 11 saves in 33 games.
Injuries has been a recurring problem with the right hander pitcher throughout his career. He had hip surgery in 2010 and Tommy John surgery in 2011.
We will have to wait and see how he performs in spring training. If he performs well he may have a shot at making the major league roster.
