Los Angeles Lakers Fall In Portland 102-86
- Updated: February 11, 2015
The Los Angeles Lakers weren’t able to get it done on the road tonight as they fell to the Portland Trial Blazers 102-86. It was a struggle for the Lakers once again as they fell to the Denver Nuggets last night at home.
Tonight the Blazers did an excellent job of sharing the ball as they racked up 27 assists. Wesley Matthews led the way with 20 points, and LaMarcus Aldridge chipped in 18 points and 12 rebounds. The Blazers had 6 players score in double figures including All-Star Damien Lillard who scored 15 points.
For the Lakers Jordan Clarkson led the way with 17 points. Wayne Ellington chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds, and Wesley Johnson scored 12 points off the bench.
As the season goes on it looks as if the Lakers have just flat-out given up. To add to the bad news Kevin Ding of Bleacher Report reported that Nick Young suffered a left peroneal tendon strain.
Nick Young has a peroneal tendon strain in his left foot. Not returning tonight. Lakers’ next game is in nine days (Feb. 20 vs. Nets).

The Lakers crawl into the All-Star break just 13-40.
