DeAndre Jordan had a big night last night as he led the Clippers over the Mavs:
“DeAndre Jordan scored 22 points and grabbed 27 rebounds as the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Dallas Mavericks 115-98.
The Clippers who were on a four game losing streak were able to end that spell tonight. In their last game on Sunday the Clippers were unable to keep up with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
J.J. Redick made his return tonight after missing a few games with back spasms. He scored 15 points including three 3-pointers. Chris Paul left his mark on the game. He recorded a double-double as he scored 25 points and had 13 assists.
Jamal Crawford continued to struggle from the field as he shot just 9/24 tonight, but he did score 22 points.”

“It was about this time last year that Blake Griffin carried the Clippers during Chris Paul’s absence to announce himself as an elite player in the NBA.
Now, with the big power forward, Blake Griffin, out of Oklahoma to undergo surgery on a staph infection in his elbow that will keep him out indefinitely (at least a month according to some reports), he will need his teammates to step up to preserve their spot in the tight Western Conference playoff race.
Last week, I discussed where the Clippers could improve to secure their spot among the top four seeds, now they’re in a battle to stay in the eight.
To make matters worse for the Clippers, back up PF Glen Davis exited Sunday’s game against OKC with back spasms…”
