Los Angeles Clippers Vs. Dallas Mavericks Start Time, Preview, TV
- Updated: February 9, 2015
The Los Angeles Clippers will conclude their road trip tonight as they take on the Dallas Mavericks. This years Grammy Trip has been a painful one to watch as the Clippers are just 2-5 entering tonight’s game, losing four in a row.
Yesterday the Clippers were unable to keep pace with the Oklahoma City Thunder as they were thumped 131-108. It was the first game that Los Angeles was without All-Star Blake Griffin who is out indefently due to a staph infection.
To make matters worst the Clippers are without starting shooting guard J.J. Redick who is dealing with back spasms. Glen “Big Baby” Davis went down in the Thunder game with back spasms as well and it is unknown when he will be available to play.
Tonight will be the second time these two teams have met this season. In thier first meeting the Clippers came out on top with a 120-100 victory.
As the Clippers limp to the finish line of this road trip Doc Rivers spoke to ESPN.com about the injury situation.
“We’re depleted right now, but no one feels sorry for us,” coach Doc Rivers said. “I don’t feel sorry for us. You got to just figure it out and keep playing.”
A lot of the responsibility with Griffin out will fall on Chris Paul. He will need to have a strong game in order for the Clippers to come out on top against another Western Conference foe.
