Lakers Take Game Two Of The NBA Finals, 124-114

LeBron James can now add a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals after the Los Angeles Lakers held on to beat the Miami Heat, 124-114.

The Miami Heat was able to fight back after missing two of their key players that brought them to the Finals. Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic both sat out game two due to injuries. Jimmy Butler had a slow start, but lead the Heat with 25 points and 13
assist. Kelly Olynyk added 24 points off the Heat’s bench.

The Lakers for the second straight game had an amazing night from the three-point stripe. The team set a finals record with 27 attempts in one half, and 47 for the game. Anthony Davis was the big story of this game. At one point, he had only missed one shot. Davis scored 32 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, to lead everyone in rebounding.

LeBron James scored 33 points including some awesome uncontested three-pointers. Rajon Rondo led the Lakers bench with 16 points, 10 assists. Alex Caruso only scored six points in this game but played defense perfectly. Several times when the Lakers needed a defensive stop, Caruso was there, including taking one for the team in charges. The Lakers bigs were able to dismantle the Heat inside without Adebayo as Los Angeles held a 44-37 rebounding advantage.

Halfway home, the Lakers will try to take a three-game lead tomorrow night as the Finals in the bubble continues. The Lakers will be the road time for the next two games.
