Blake-less Clippers Can’t Handle Thunder 131-108

The Los Angeles Clippers were not able to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder today. They lost 131-108.
The Clippers were forced to play without J.J Redick, Blake Griffin, and Glen “Big Baby” Davis, who left the game and did not return. Griffin will be reevaluated after the All-Star break.
Kevin Durant scored 29 points, Russell Westbrook had 19 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, and Mitch McGary added 19 points and 10 rebounds. The Thunder were able to shoot 52 percent which helped them to move back above the .500 mark.
Spencer Hawes had a killer game today as he racked up 17 points. Jamal Crawford led the Clippers in scoring with 21 points and the ever-reliable Chris Paul put up 18 points and 13 assists.
The game was even in the first quarter, and the Clippers started their takeover going into the half 56-46. Oklahoma City Thunder opened up the second half with a 9-2 run and a 3-pointer from Kevin Durant gave them a 75-58 lead. Russell Westbrook shot a 3-pointer with 11.9 seconds left in the third quarter to put the Thunder up 101-75.
The game ultimately ended 131-108.
Up next the Clippers will travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets tomorrow night.
