Lakers Outplayed By Oklahoma City, 105-86.

The Los Angeles Lakers displayed their Dr.Jekell and Mr.Hyde’s side yesterday in a very embarrassing loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 105-86.

Poor defense, below-average shooting, and 13.5% from the three-point line don’t win many games in the NBA. Chris Paul scored 21 points and made several clutch 3-pointers that dismantled the Lakers’ defense. Paul wasn’t the only one that wreaked havoc on the Lakers, Danilo Gallinari, and Steven Adams scored 19 and 18 points for the Thunder.

LeBron James led the Lakers with 19 points and Dion Waiters scored 14 off the bench. The Lakers players will remember this game because of the surprise factor facing the Thunder. After losing several pieces including Paul George and Russell Westbrook, the rebirth of Chris Paul has made the Thunder the fourth-best team in the Western Conference. Billy Donovan who was named Co-Coach Of The Year has done a remarkable job this season.

The Lakers won’t have to dwell on this loss, as they will face another good team in the Houston Rockets.
