Rondo, Lakers Beat Suns, 125-100.

Rajon Rondo had an excellent night as the Los Angeles Lakers took care of their business in a 125-100 win over the Phoenix Suns.

With 15 points in six minutes in the second quarter, Rondo was the driving force that sparked the Lakers bench. Rondo ended the game with a season-high 23 points which included 4 of 5 from the three-point stripe.

The Suns battled the Lakers in the first quarter, there were 17 lead changes with the Lakers holding a one-point lead, 31-30. Some of the best highlights from this game included some great passing from LeBron James with 8 assists. James threw a perfectly timed pass to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for the slam dunk. Danny Green caught the Suns sleeping on the inbound slam by Anthony Davis.

The Lakers dominated the Suns in the paint, outscoring them 58-38. The Suns’ superstar Devin Booker had a miserable game, only scoring 10 points and 0 for 4 from the three-point line.
Anthony Davis led all scorers with 25 points with 10 rebounds and 5 assists.

NEXT UP FOR THE LAKERS:

The Lakers (40-12) will travel to Denver to face the Nuggets on Wednesday, the final game before the All-Star break. The Lakers continue to have a great stretch run, this season record is the best 52 game start in the past 10 seasons.
