Denver Beat The Chargers, 20-13

The Denver Broncos ended their losing streak with a 20-13 win over the Los Angeles Chargers at home.

Denver Head Coach Vic Fangio and quarterback Joe Flacco picked up their first for the Broncos to avoid the worst start in the team’s history at 0-5.

The Chargers never recovered or held a lead in this game as the Broncos jumped them from the beginning of this game. The Broncos led this game 17-0 until late in the third quarter when Desmond King picked off Flacco for a 68-yard pick-six.
Chase McLaughlin hit two of his three field-goal attempts from 45 and 32 yards.

The Offense was shut down completely, only gaining 246 total yards including 35 yards on the ground. The Defense was totally overmatched as the Broncos running game and receivers were able to everything and anything they wanted to do.

The Chargers (2-3) will face another team that’s down on their luck, the Pittsburgh Steelers (1-3). The Steelers are coming into this game after an overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens, 26-23. The Chargers might be facing a third-string quarterback in Delvin Hodges after Mason Rudolph was injured.
