Clippers Rally Back In Fourth, Beat Jazz 94-89

The Los Angeles Clippers used a big fourth quarter to rally back and beat the Utah Jazz 94-89. Tonight’s win pushes the Clippers win streak to six in a row. While the Clippers have been playing great basketball of late tonight’s game was a little different from normal.
On Monday night the Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets 102-98 after Jamal Crawford took over in the fourth quarter. With J.J. Redick being out due to back spasms Crawford got the start at the shooting guard position.
Chris Paul and Crawford each scored 21 points. Paul added 6 assists and 5 rebounds to go along with his scoring. Blake Griffin scored 17 points to go along with 7 rebounds. Matt Barnes added 14 points and DeAndre Jordan scored 9 points and had 12 rebounds.
A big factor in tonight’s game was Austin Rivers play off the bench. He easily had his best game as Clipper as he scored 12 points on 5/8 shooting.
For the Jazz Enis Kanter scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Derrick Favors was one rebound away from a double-double. He scored 18 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
Gordon Hayward was just 4/13 from the field tonight and added 11 points. Joe Ingles who was cut from the Clippers during the preseason started and scored 10 points.
The Jazz struggled to hit perimeter shots tonight. They hit just 5 of their 24 attempts from behind the arch. However, they did control the glass. They outrebounded the Clippers 47-37 including 16 offensive rebounds.
For the Clippers they started off the road trip on the right foot with the comeback win. They will take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night.
