J.J. Redick To Participate in 3-point Shootout

According to Tom Haberstroth of ESPN.com Los Angeles Clippers guard J.J. Redick will be participating in the 3-point shootout at the NBA’s All-Star weekend.

J.J. Redick is heralded as one of the greatest shooters of all time. He spent his college years at Duke University and averaged 19.9 points per game, 2.7 rebounds per game, and 2.2 assists per game.
He is currently shooting 44% from deep with the Los Angeles Clippers and is averaging 14.9 points per game. J.J. Redick is currently in the top ten in the league in three point percentage and three pointers made. Bleacher Report reports the following about the three point competition:
“These boys can all flat-out shoot, and there’s a good chance at least a couple of them put on a scintillating performance. It’s currently unknown if the sixth participant will be defending champion Marco Belinelli or someone else. But with these first five, it could be Greg Stiemsma—sorry, Greg—and most of the country would still tune in. “
