Los Angeles Clippers Sneak By Nuggets 102-98

The Los Angeles Clippers used a fourth quarter rally to beat the Denver Nuggets 102-98. Tonight’s win pushes the Clippers win streak to 5 in a row.
In their last game the Clippers were able to beat the Suns by twenty, 120-100. Tonight’s game would be much different as the Clippers would need all forty-eight minutes to beat the Nuggets.
Blake Griffin flirted with a triple-double as he scored 14 points to go along with 10 assists and 9 rebounds. Griffin did struggle from the field however as he shot just 6/17.
Chris Paul scored 15 points and had 8 assists. Jamal Crawford scored 21 of 23 points in the fourth quater to help led the Clippers to victory. His 23 points was a game high. DeAndre Jordan continued his defensive presence as he scored 7 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to go along with 4 blocks.
For the Nuggets, Ty Lawson led the way in scoring. He had 19 points and 11 assists. Arron Afflalo and Wilson Chandler each scored 18 points. Kenneth Faried scored 14 points and grabbed just two rebounds.
A big factor in tonight’s game was the rebounding battle. The Clippers were able to win that battle 45-38 . This advantage on the boards led the Clippers to more free throws as they converted on 19 of 22 attempts.
With the win the Clippers improve to 31-14. They will start an eight game road trip with the Jazz on Wednesday.
