Washington Wizards Vs. Los Angeles Lakers Start Time, Preview, TV

The Los Angeles Lakers host the Washington Wizards tonight. The Lakers are coming off a loss to the Houston Rockets but are still working around the recent diagnosis of Kobe Bryant’s torn rotator cuff.
The ever charming, Swaggy P, told the media today, the solution to their Kobe-less team is to center the game around him.

News came yesterday, from a source close to Bryant that said he is not done just yet and has every intention of coming back next season.
“Those close to Kobe say he is definitively coming back to play next season. Doesn’t want to go out like this.”

According to reports Kobe will also be active in free-agent recruiting for the Lakers including pitches to possible future teammates in July

As for the Washington Wizards, they are coming off of a win against the Denver Nuggets. They will travel to LA in hopes of getting a back-to-back win. This could be bad news for the Lakers because it could position them to be on track with their worst losing streak in 21 years.
Against the Nuggets John Wall scored six of his total 19 points in an overtime win and had 16 assists. He told ESPN.com after the game:
“This is one of those ones that we’re happy to get,” said Wall, who scored 25 at Portland a night earlier. “Especially on this road trip, we didn’t want to go down 0-2.”
Coach Byron Scott is unhappy with the team’s performances, he only played 9 minutes in the last game. He said the following to the media after their game:
“The effort, that hasn’t been an issue,” said Scott, whose club has averaged 18.4 turnovers in the past five games. “When we’re turning the ball over at that high of a rate, we’re not giving ourselves a chance.”
