Kershaw Leads Dodgers To 5-2 Win

Clayton Kershaw pitched an amazing game and the lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 5-2 win in game five of the NLCS.

Kershaw pitched 7 innings allowing 1 run while striking out 9. He walked 2 and picked up his second win of the postseason.

On the other side, Wade Miley got the start. He threw five pitches and came out of the game. Brandon Woodruff came on and pitched 5.1 innings allowing 5 hits and 3 runs only 2 of them earned. He walked 1 and struck out 8.

Lorenzo Cain got things started in the 3rd inning when he hit an RBI double that brought in Orlando Arcia. This gave the Brewers a 1-0 lead.

In the 5th inning, Austin Barnes hit an RBI single that brought in Chris Taylor and tied the score at 1-1. Max Muncy added to the offense in the 6th with an RBI single that brought in Justin Turner.

Yasiel Puig hit an RBI single to center that brought in Manny Machado and pushed the lead to 3-1.

It was Turner in the 7th inning that hit an RBI single that brought in Kershaw and Brian Dozier grounded out to third but brought in Cody Bellinger and Los Angeles held a 5-1 advantage.

Curtis Granderson hit an RBI double in the 9th inning that brought in Jesus Aguilar and Kenley Jansen got the final out of the night to give Los Angeles the 5-2 win.
