Chargers Squeak By Titans, 20-19 In London

The Los Angeles Chargers edged out the Tennessee Titans 20-19 in London.
A late Tennessee touchdown from Marcus Mariota to Luke Stocker pulled the Titans within a point of tying this game, but the Titans decided to go for the win. The Chargers almost gave this game away at the end but managed to hold on for the win.
Chargers Corner Back Casey Hayward was called for holding during the two-point conversion, but the defense held their ground as the Titans failed on their second attempt.
Tyrell Williams had another big game for the Bolt’s in the absence of Melvin Gordon who sat out this game with a hamstring injury. Williams gained 118 yards on 4 receptions which included a 75-yard pass to give the Chargers the lead at 7-3. Mike Williams only caught one but it resulted in a 55-yard touchdown for Rivers. Austin Ekeler led the ground game, gaining 42 yards on 12 carries. Philip Rivers completed 19 of his 26 pass attempts for 306 yards. Rivers has passed for 15 touchdowns this season with only three interceptions.
BOLT NOTES:
The defense stood their ground in the final seconds of this game and played well all morning. Marcus Mariota was picked off Denzel Perryman and sacked twice by Melvin Ingram and Darius Philon.
NEXT UP FOR THE CHARGERS:
The team will head into the Bye Week sporting an impressive 5-2 record. With their fourth-straight win, the Chargers are now within a half-game of the Kansas City Chiefs for the lead in the AFC West.
Los Angeles will be back to work on November 4th in Seattle to take on the Seahawks.
