Sean Newcomb To Start Game 3 For Braves
- Updated: October 6, 2018
According to Andy Mccullough of Los Angeles Times, the Atlanta Braves will start left-handed pitcher Sean Newcomb in game 3 of the NLDS.
Sean Newcomb will start tomorrow for the Braves. So I guess the Dodgers won’t need to run that sim game for their LHP lineup.

Newcomb is a former first-round pick of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 2014 MLB draft. He has spent his entire professional career with the Braves.
This year Newcomb posted a 12-9 record with a 3.90 ERA. He started in 31 games and pitched 164 innings and struck out 160 batters.
Los Angeles took games one and two with strong starts from Hyun-Jin Ryu and Clayton Kershaw. Manny Machado hit a two homerun for the club and Yasami Grandal hit a solo shot in the Dodgers 3-0 win last night.
