Dodgers Take Game 2 Behind Kershaw’s Dominance

The Los Angeles Dodgers took a 2-0 series lead over the Atlanta Braves in the National League Divison Series thanks to Clayton Kershaw and his excellent start. Kershaw pitched 8 innings allowing just 2 hits and struck out 3 batters as the Dodgers won by a score of 3-0.

On the other side, Anibal Sanchez got the start. He pitched 4.2 innings allowing 5 hits and 3 runs. He walked 1 and struck out 3 but allowed 2 home runs and picked up the loss.

The offense got started in the first inning when Manny Machado hit a two-run shot that brought in Joc Pederson and put the Dodgers up 2-0.

In the fifth inning, Yasmani Grandal hit a solo home run to push the lead to 3-0. In the 9th inning, Kenley Jansen came on in the 9th inning and struck out 1 and picked up his first save of the postseason.

With the win, Los Angeles now holds a 2-0 series lead. They will travel to Atlanta to play a game 3 on the road.
