Greg Beachman of the Associated Press shared his thoughts on the news.
Dustin Brown is almost 34, and he’s never had a major injury before this broken finger. He hasn’t missed more than 4 games in any of the past 13 NHL seasons. He has missed only 18 games TOTAL for any reason since he cracked the Kings’ lineup for good way back in 2005.

Brown has spent his entire 14-year career with the Kings and has been a major contributor throughout his career. Last season Brown played in 81 games and totaled 61 points, 28 goals, and 33 assists.
