Dodgers Acquire David Freese

According to the Los Angeles Dodgers official Twitter account, the club has acquired third basemen, David Freese.
The Los Angeles Dodgers today acquired third baseman David Freese in a trade with the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for minor league infielder Jesus Manuel Valdez.

Freese has spent time with the St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Angels, and Pittsburgh Pirates throughout his career. He was named an All-Star in 2012. Freese has 9 home runs and 42 RBI’s on the year. Los Angeles made the move to provide more depth for the playoffs as they look to get back to the World Series.
