Jaylen Watkins Out For Year With Torn ACL

According to Ian Rapport of NFL.com, Los Angeles Chargers safety Jaylen Watkins is out for the season due to a torn ACL.
#Chargers S Jaylen Watkins suffered a torn ACL last night based on the initial tests, source said. Tough loss for LAC, as Watkins was having a strong preseason and started for them last night.

Eric Williams of ESPN.com reported further information.
Looked like Chargers safety Jaylen Watkins suffered a right leg injury when Melvin Ingram fell on him late in the first half. Watkins had to be helped off the field and is being taken to the locker room on a cart.

Watkins is a former fourth round pick of the Phildelphia Eagles in the 2014 NFL Draft. He had spent his first four years of his career with the club playing in 12 games and winning the Super Bowl last season.
