Dodgers Acquire John Axford

According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired John Axford from the Toronto Blue Jays.

John Axford is a RHP. This year, left-handers are batting .147 against him.

Axford has spent time with the Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Indians, Pittsburgh Pirates, Colordo Rockies, Oakland Atheltics, and Blue Jays throughtout his career.
In 2011 he recorded a career high 46 saves fore the Brewers. So far this season Axford has posted a 4-1 record with a 4.41 ERA in 45 games.
Los Angeles made a few moves to get better at the deadline and added another relief pitcher is a key.
