Dodgers Fall To Brewers 5-2

The Dodgers returned home for the first time after their long road trip and fell to the Milwaukee Brewers 5-2. This was the first home game for newcomer Manny Machado.
Kenta Maeda got the start for the Dodgers. He pitched 4.2 innings allowing 7 hits and 4 runs. He walked 3 and struck out 4 and picked up his 6th loss of the year.
On the other side, Freddy Peralta got the start. He pitched 4 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 run. He walked 4 and struck out 6 and picked up an no decision.
The offense got started in the first inning when Travis Shaw hit an RBI single that brought in Christian Yelich. In the third inning, Eric Thames hit a 3-run home run that brought in Shaw and Ryan Braun.
In the bottom half of the third Max Muncy hit an RBI triple that brought in Machado and put Los Angeles on the board.
It was Jesus Aguilar in the eighth inning that hit an RBI single that brought in Manny Pina. Machado hit a solo shot in the ninth inning and Los Angeles fell 5-2.
