Brian Windhorst reported his thoughts on the news.
LeBron James played a season with Michael Beasley in Miami. They had no major issues & LeBron said he respected Beasley’s talent. I mean Erik Spoelstra decided Beas was unplayable in the postseason due to defensive lapses. But in fairness I don’t recall him forgetting the score.

Tommy Beer of NBC shared his thoughts.
Beas is a solid signing for LA:
Carmelo Anthony’s per-36-minute averages in 2017-18:
18.2 points (40.4% shooting), 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.7 blocksMichael Beasley’s per-36-minute averages in 2017-18:
21.3 points (50.7% shooting), 9.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists & 0.9 blocks— Tommy Beer (@TommyBeer) July 20, 2018
Beasley is proflic scoring forward but does struggle on the defensive-end. He shoud fair well in Luke Walton‘s up-tempo system.
