Isaiah Thomas To Undergo Hip Surgery

According to Shams Charina of the Vertical, Los Angeles Lakers guard Isaiah Thomas will undergo hip surgery and miss the rest of the season.

In a statement received by ESPN on Isaiah Thomas, Dr. Bryan Kelly of the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC says: “We will be doing a minimally invasive procedure to “clean up” the joint of all inflammatory debris related to his injury from last season.”

Thomas was acquired by the Lakers in at the trade deadline in a trade with the Cleveland Cavilers that involved Channing Frye, Jordan Clarkson, and Larry Nance Jr.
