Lakers Sign Travis Wear For The Remainder Of The Season

The Los Angeles Lakers have reached an agreement with (Forward) Travis Wear for the rest of the season.

Wear has averaged 4.8 PPG, 2.2 RPG in 12.2 minutes. The move was announced today by Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka after his 10-day contract had expired.

After being called up on March 2nd from the G-League’s South Bay Lakers, the team was impressed by his ability to hit from the three-point line.

The Southern Californian native will be the 16th member of the Lakers and will help the team’s bench depth.

As more information surfaces on the Lakers and their roster news, we will keep you up to date.

With second-year forward Brandon Ingram out with a groin, injury Wear has received an extended opportunity and playing time and has made the most of it.

With the playoffs pretty much out of the picture, the club will look to give some of their South Bay players a look.

Los Angeles will take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night at the FedEx Form.
