Clippers Use Big Second Half To Beat Pelicans 112-103

The Los Angeles Clippers used a big second half to rally back and beat the New Orleans Pelicans 112-103 on Sunday. Los Angeles has now won two in a row.

Blake Griffin flirted with a triple-double for the Clippers. He had 27 points, 7 assists, and 12 rebounds. Tyrone Wallace got the start and had 19 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds.

DeAndre Jordan had 12 points and 19 rebounds. Milos Teodosic reached double-figures with 12 points and Lou Williams had 22 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds.

For New Orleans, this was their first game without their All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins who torn his Achilles tendon and will be out for the rest of the year. Anthony Davis had 25 points and 17 rebounds.

Jrue Holiday flirted with a triple-double as he had 20 points, 7 assists, and 9 rebounds. E’Twaun Moore reached double-figures with 18 points.

In a tightly contested affair, the Clippers were able to shoot a higher percentage from three and also record more assists and less turnover than the Pelicans.

Up next for Los Angeles they will take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night at the Staples Center.
