Lakers Top Pacers Behind Clarkson’s Big Night

The Los Angeles Lakers topped the Indiana Pacers 99-86 behind Jordan Clarkson big game. For the club, they also won their first game of the year without Lonzo Ball in the lineup.
Clarkson scored a game-high 33 points, had 7 assists and 7 rebounds in the win. Julius Randle added 14 points and Kyle Kuzma reached double-figures with 13. Larry Nance Jr. recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
For the Pacers, Victor Oladipo scored a team-high 25 points. Domantas Sabonis recorded a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Bojan Bogdanovic scored 11 points and Thaddeus Young reached double-figures with 10 points.
Los Angeles shot 55% from the field compared to the Pacers 38% and the Pacers connected on just 2 of 25 three-point attempts. Los Angeles made just 2/14 free throws on the night and were able to come out with the victory.
Los Angeles will take on Kristaps Porzingis and the New York Knicks tomorrow afternoon at the Staples Center at 12:30 p.m. PST
New York is coming off a 117-115 win over the Utah Jazz on Friday night. Tim Hardaway Jr. has worked his way back after missing time due to injury.
