Angels Re-Sign RHP Blake Parker

According to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have re-signed right-handed pitcher Blake Parker to a one-year deal.

Parker is a former 16th round pick of the Chicago Cubs in the 2006 MLB Draft. He has spent time with the Cubs, Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees, before joining the Angels last season.

With the Angels Parker pitched in a career high 71 games. He recorded a 3-3 record with a 2.54 ERA. He struckout 86 batters and threw 67.1 innings while making eight saves.

Parker will look for more success with the Halos next season. The club found themselves as the odd men out at the end of the year as they were fighting for the final AL wild card spot.
