Ducks Score 3 In 3rd Period, Beat Yotes 5-2

The Anaheim Ducks scored three goals in the final period to beat the Arizona Coyotes 5-2 on Sunday night. With the win, Anaheim improved their record to 18-14-8 on the year.
The offense got started in the first period when Rickard Rakell scored a tip-in shot that was assisted by Antoine Vermette and Ryan Getzlaf. Later in the period, Arizona answered back when Brendan Perlini scored a slap shot goal that was assisted by Alex Goligoski. Anaheim capped off the period when Rakell scored his second goal of the night that was assisted by Getzlaf and Vermette.
In the third period, Clayton Keller tied the score at 2-2 with a tip-in shot. His goal was assisted by Derek Stepan. A few minutes later Cam Fowler scored a wrist shot goal that was assisted by Jakob Silfverberg and Ryan Kesler. Silverberg answered back with a wrist shot goal of his own that was assisted by Fowler and John Gibson.
Vermette capped off the night with an empty net goal that was assisted by Kesler and Kevin Bieksa. Anaheim will take on the Vancouver Canucks on the road on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. on FSW
